Quick Guide for SELB 305P To Power On/Off Projection System Sources On Control Panel Connecting with AirMedia Questions? The Creston Control panel runs the system in this room. At the instructor’s station, there are a desktop computer, Blu-Ray player, a Document Camera, and VGA & HDMI connections. To Power On/Off Projection System Press the button on the top right above the volume knob. Sources On Control Panel AirMedia – Wireless Projection PC – Desktop PC HDMI – HDMI connection (via HDMI Wall input) Connecting with AirMedia Laptops and Smart Devices connect wirelessly via AirMedia. Select the AirMedia source on the Control Panel. Laptops: Open a web browser and enter the URL at the bottom of the screen. Download AirMedia for your system. Enter the 4-digit Code located at the bottom corner of the screen. (Code changes each time.) To disconnect, exit AirMedia on the laptop. Smart Devices: Download the Crestron AirMedia App to your device. Open the App. Enter the URL. Then tap Present with AirMedia. Enter the 4-digit Code to connect. Table of Content Turn On and Off TV Using Cable TV Connecting Laptop Questions? Turn On and Off TV Using the Samsung remote provided, point the remote to the lower-right corner of the TV, and press the Red Power button. To power off the TV press the Power Off button on the upper right-hand side of the remote. Sources Available on the TV: Once the TV is on, press the [Source] button on the Samsung remote provided. Use the left and right arrows to select the source, and press the [Enter] button. HDMI1/DVI – Cable TV HDMI2 – HDMI connection Using Cable TV In this room, there is a Cox Cable remote. Use this remote to change the channel. Note: The remotes should be on the table below the TV. Connecting Laptop In this room, there is an HDMI cable. Tap the bottom of the screen to enter the system. Select a source to power on the projector and lower the screen. The available sources are: Rack Input- HDMI connection from the AV closet Wall Plate- HDMI connection from the wall. BluRay- Plays BluRay and DVD discs. TV - Cable TV (Requires Cox Remote to change channels.) To Turn Off *Note: Please make sure to turn off the system before leaving the room. Select Exit on the touch panel. Confirm shutdown by selecting Yes. Connecting a Device Personal Laptop The room has two HDMI inputs. Select the appropriate HDMI connection on the touch panel. Adapters are available for checkout at the Media Tech Desk (near the University Library entrance). AV Features To mute the screen (without turning off the projector), press Image Mute on the touch panel. Press Image Mute On to resume projection. Need More Help? Press the EXIT button on the touch panel. When it asks if you are sure you would like to exit the system, select "yes." Connecting a Device Personal Laptop There is an HDMI cable giving you the ability to connect your laptop. If your laptop does not have the correct port, there are adapters available for checkout at the MediaTech Desk, located by the main entrance of the University Library. When connected, select "Laptop" as the source on the touch panel. AirMedia Wireless connection for laptops and smart devices. Select "AirMedia" as the source on the touch panel. If you are on a laptop, open your web browser and enter the URL at the bottom of the TV screen (10.103....) Download AirMedia for your system. Enter the 4-digit code located at the bottom corner of the screen. If you are on a smart device, download the Creston AirMedia app to your device Enter the 4-digit code to connect. * Note: For iPads, an AirPlay prompt appears with instructions after entering the URL. To disconnect, exit the AirMedia app. AV Features Microphones Wireless mics: Handheld and Lav mic are located in the rack. Wired mics: External mics must be plugged into the rack.
