Quick Guide - ARCH 206
Technology Instructions for ARCH 206 Turn on the projector by using the small Crestron wall touch panel. The power button is in the lower right. You can use your device with a wired connection or wirelessly via Air Media. To use the wired connection, plug the provided HDMI cable into your device. You may need an adapter if the device only has USB-C ports. To use the wireless connection, select the Air Media icon on the touch panel. An IP address will be visible in the lower left hand corner of the projection (“10.103.___.___”). Enter this number into the web address area of Chrome or Firefox. This brings you to a page to download the Air Media software. Once the software is downloaded and opened, a 4-digit number will appear on the Air Media projection. Enter this number into the box that pops up on your device. This connects the device image/sound to the projector. If you have a mac laptop, follow the same directions. After downloading the software, the Air Media with corresponding room number will appear as a mirroring option. Select that to display your device. When class is over, please turn the system off from the power button on the touch panel.

Technology Instructions for ARCH 203 Turn on the TV monitor by using the small Crestron wall touch panel. The power button is in the lower right. Using the Polycom for Zoom When using Zoom on the Room PC, please follow the instructions below. Access Zoom either by clicking the desktop icon or via Bridges. Login using your RWU Microsoft Credentials. Once open, go to Audio Settings in the lower left and select Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (Polycom Studio). Table of Content Turning System ON and OFF Connecting a Device Need Tech Help? Turning System ON and OFF To Turn On Tap the touch screen to turn it on. In the Arch thesis room, you have the option of using just one projector/monitor, or both 104 and 105 rooms if using the whole space for one meeting. Select "Single Room" or "Combined" Single Room Single room mode allows you to select laptop connection or wireless AirMedia connection, and route it to either the projector and/or the TV monitor Combined Room Combined room mode allows you to send the signal from the USB-C cable or AirMedia in either 104 or 105 to any/all projectors and monitors in either room. To Turn Off *Note: Please make sure to turn off the system before leaving the room. Press the exit button on the touch panel. Then, confirm that you want to power the system down. Connecting a Device Personal Laptop Plug in your device using the USB-C cable in the room. Once the laptop is plugged in, select "Single Room" or "Combined Room." Single will control one-half of the space. Combined will control both sides. When using combined, your laptop only needs to be connected to one side of the room, then, using the touch panel, you can send the signal to both projectors/displays. AirMedia For AirMedia, connect the AirMedia adapter to your USB-C port. Then select "AirMedia" on the touch panel and either the projector or the display. If the adapter is not available, open Chrome or another browser and type in the IP address at the bottom of the screen (10.103...) Going to that page on your laptop will allow you to then connect to AirMedia using a 4-digit code that appears on the selected TV monitors and projectors. Need Tech Help?
