Equipment is available to sign out from the Media Tech Desk with a valid RWU I.D. card. Laptop loans are 2 Days. All other equipment is same day rental only.
Equipment includes: Dell and mac laptops, adapters, DSLR cameras, tripods, hard drives, and Student laptop repair services

General Equipment Loan Ticket procedure- Creating a Ticket 1. Go to the Service catalog and click on the item being requested: 2. Add the date to the box that pops up and hit Place Request 3. Type in the customers email address and click Confirm: 4. The ticket will pop up. Click on the Fulfill request button: 5. Choose the correct item from the menu on the side of the box that pops up. Then hit Next: 6. Another box will pop up, hit assign. 7. When you are back to the ticket you will click on execute scenario button and then click on appropriate scenario, (Creates the return task, sets to Pending and adds a reply comment to the requestor): 8. The Ticket is now searchable in the system.

Closing a ticket for a returning item: Open the ticket and click on the Assets button which will show the item that was loaned out. Click on the highlighted item in the box for the Asset page: Navigate to the fields on the right and change the Asset state from "In Use" to "In Stock" Also, Change the Department back to "Information Technology" and click the x next to the name in the "Used By" field to clear it: Navigate back to the original ticket and check the box that the task is closed: Set the ticket to closed and Update:
