Taking Tests in Bridges Important: Have a stable internet connection (wired if possible) Use a laptop/desktop (do not use mobile devices for exams) Use one browser, Firefox or Chrome, and one page (do not open multiple browsers/ user multiple browsers) Use the built-in navigation (don't hit the back button) Pay attention to Test settings (Open, Close, Test time and ability to review and edit answers) Use a text editor to answer and copy/paste for longer form answers. Panopto: I am having trouble watching a video my professor posted
I am having trouble watching a video my professor posted. ISSUE: Your professor has posted a video or sent a link to a video and you see: OR: And you click to sign in, and it brings them you back to the Bridges login screen. TRY THIS: 1. Contact your professor and mention that you are unable to watch the video 2. Click on Panopto either on the Home menu or within the course. 3. Where Do I Find Test/Quiz Feedback?
Feedback for exams can be listed in a few places in Bridges. 1. Gradebook- if an instructor leaves an overall comment on your score, it will show up in Gradebook. Navigate to gradebook, find the graded item, and then see the comment in the "comments" section. 2. Question level feedback- if an instructor gives question level feedback on the exam, navigate to "tests and quizzes" on the course menu, and click on "feedback" on your exam. How do I upload/create a link to a document in a textbox?
You can upload a .pdf or document by linking to it in the textbox (much like creating a link to a website). Select the down arrow in the textbox to open up the options. Highlight the text in the textbox Select the link icon in the text editor. Select upload tab and select Browse: Browse to the file you want to use and select Open. This will bring you back to the screen. Then select OK. After saving your work, when someone clicks on the link they will be able to download and view the .pdf.
