Table of Content Turning System ON and OFF Connecting A Device Using AirMedia Using Zoom Need More Help? Turning System ON and OFF To Turn On Press the ON button on the control panel. To change the source display, press the Source button. The available sources are: PC- Desktop PC Laptop HDMI -HDMI Connection Doc Cam - Document Camera BluRay - BluRay Discs AirMedia - Wireless Connection To Turn Off *Note: Please make sure to turn off the system before leaving the room. Press the OFF button on the control panel. Connecting A Device Personal Laptop Laptops are connected via the HDMI cable coming out of the cubby. The VGA cable can be used as a backup with a USB-C adapter. Playing a Disc To play a disc, use either the PC disc drive with VLC Media Player or the Sony BluRay player. Document Camera If using the document camera, make sure the power button is on and lit blue, in addition to selecting it as a source on the Creston panel. Using AirMedia Setting Up AirMedia To use a wireless connection, select the AirMedia source on the touch panel. An IP address will be visible in the upper left hand corner of the TV monitor ("10.103._._") Enter this number into the web address area of Chrome or Firefox on the device you are trying to connect. This will being you to a page to download the AirMedia software. Once the software is opened, enter the 4-digit number at the upper right hand corner of the projection into the box that pops up on your device. This connects the device image and sound to the projector. Using Zoom Setting up Zoom Remote Learning Instructions - QSys On the room PC, Zoom can be accessed via the desktop icon or via Bridges. Please log in through the Single Sign On (SSO) when using the icon. It uses your Microsoft credentials. The room camera can be controlled from the Camera Controls button on the Crestron panel. You can pan and tilt the camera, as well as zoom in/out. The USB cable coming out of the cubby can be plugged into a laptop to connect the camera and mic to that device. In the zoom audio and video settings please make sure Echo Cancelling Speakerphone and Q-SYS Core 110f are selected. Turning System ON and OFF To get started, touch the RWU logo on the touch screen. If touch screen is Black, tap it to turn on. Classroom technology: Room PC, Blu-ray player, Document Camera, VGA & HDMI, AirMedia for wireless connection, Microphones, and Cameras. *Note: Please turn off the system before leaving the room. To Exit, press the red exit icon. Yes to shut down. No to continue using. Using System With Distance ED To start a class WITH Distance Ed/Web Conferencing, Select Web Conferencing Call Use WEB CONFERENCE CALL to use the Room PC for single link distance education or display and use the room camera as your webcam. Note: You will need to use the Room computer in web conferencing mode. The Room computer will automatically display on the screens. To adjust the cameras, select Camera Controls on the top of the screen. Web Conferencing Menu: Camera Controls Audio Call Setup Room Options Exit Camera Controls Interface: Front Camera | Rear Camera Directional Pad (for moving camera) Zoom + / Zoom - Presets 1, 2, 3, 4 (Hold for 3 seconds to save) Volume (Adjust Room PC & online students) Microphones (Adjust presenter volume to online students) Camera Notes: Front Camera captures the audience. Back Camera captures the presenter. Directional pad moves the camera. Zoom In/Out using Zoom + and Zoom - buttons. Volume Controls adjust Room PC and online students’ audio. Microphone Controls adjust the ceiling mics and the RevoLab Mic on the desk. Using System Without Distance ED To start a class WITHOUT Distance capabilities, Select Presentation Use PRESENTATION mode for a normal single presenter sharing media with the room. Selecting Sources in Presentation Mode To project the Room Computer, select PC source icon on top of the screen. The Room Computer is located in the desk cabinet. To project a laptop, select Laptop source icon at the top of the screen. Then choose the HDMI or VGA icon. VGA & HDMI cables are located on the desk. Need More Help? Quick Guide for Distance Classrooms Table of Content Powering System ON and OFF Using System With Distance ED Using System Without Distance ED Need More Help? Using System With Distance ED To start a class WITH Distance Ed/ Web Conferencing, Select Web Conferencing Call Note: you will need to use the Room computer in web conferencing mode. The Room computer will automatically display on the screens. To adjust the cameras, select Camera Controls on the top of the screen. Front Camera captures the audience. Back Camera captures the presenter. To move the camera, use the directional pad in the center of the screen. To zoom in, press Zoom +. To zoom out, press Zoom-. Audio controls are located on the right side of the screen. To adjust volume of Room PC and online students select Volume. To adjust volume of the presenter to online students, select Microphones. This controls the ceiling mics and the Revolab Mic located on the desk. Using System Without Distance ED To start a class WITHOUT Distance capabilities, Select Presentation Selecting Sources in Presentation mode To project the Room Computer, select PC source icon on top of the screen.
