Network Shared Drive Is Not Mapping
Solution: 1. It could take a few minutes for drives to get mapped after booting, so wait 5 minutes and see if it is there. 2. Run gpupdate on the machine by starting up a command line and typing gpupdate at the blinking cursor( this will run group policy on the machine which should then map the drive)

Keep Mobile Devices Updated and Patched
Keep Mobile Devices Updated and Patched Mobile devices are now an instrumental tool – both at work and at home. Ensuring your device is up to date with all software patches is important to reduce security risk. Although auto-updates are preferred, periodically checking the device's status is an important maintenance. Apple iOS devices (iPhone/iPad) iOS Operating System Updates Back up your device using iCloud or your computer. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update. If you see two software update options available, choose the one that you want to install. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do. Note: if a message asks to temporarily remove apps because the software needs more space for the update, tap Continue to allow apps to be removed. After installation is complete, those apps are automatically reinstalled. If you tap Cancel instead, you can delete content manually from your device to add more space. iOS Apps Updates Apps downloaded from the Apple iTunes Store are automatically updated by default. But if there's an issue, you can update an app manually by: Open the App Store. Tap your profile icon at the top of the screen. Scroll to see pending updates and release notes. Tap Update next to an app to update only that app, or tap Update All. Android devices Android Operating System Updating the operating system varies slightly by manufacture; however, most Android devices provide this update via the System or Settings Options followed by Software Update. Android Apps Updates Open Play Store In the search box type: updates, you should then be presented with an option to “see updates” that links to the Manage Apps interface From the Manage apps & devices page you’ll have the option to update all apps or select specific ones.

Computer Equipment Office Move Guidelines
Office moves are usually coordinated and planned out of RWUs Facilities\Capital Projects office. Once an office move date is set, IT staff can help unplug and pack all stationary computer equipment. The following steps help IT staff and office staff best coordinate this process. Office staff responsibility checklist, to be completed prior to IT stepping in: Label all computer equipment, including keyboards, mice, laptop docking stations, laptops, computer desktop towers, monitors, and printers with following info: Staff name Staff new office number Preferably have storage boxes available to store and consolidate as much computer equipment as possible. If a move-in date is set, and office staff will not be present for computer equipment setup and network and monitor connection testing, IT will set up all computer equipment available. Staff members are responsible for contacting Mediatech, https:\\mediatech.rwu.edu, if help is needed connecting computer equipment once they return to the office.
