To copy a lesson in a course:

1. Select the Add Content and "Add items from another page"

2. Select the radio button next to the lesson you would like to copy out of (you can preview the lesson by clicking on the link)

Then click Use Selected Item.

3. A preview of the page with the items that are added to your page will appear with the highlighted yellow sections as the ones that are newly added. 
One can adjust layout accordingly by deleting or dragging and dropping the sections.

Click Save when complete
