Crestron Panel Instructions
- The room technology is controlled by a Crestron panel on the teacher's desk.
- There are sources for room computer, user laptop, and Air Media.
- Press your desired source to activate the TV monitor.
Crestron Features
- The image mute button is available to hide the image from class.
- To raise or lower the volume, use the buttons on the right.
- To use the side monitor as a extra display, use the power button on the top right. It should default to the correct source.
Connecting Personal Laptops
- Laptops are connected via the HDMI cable, which has a USB-C adapter attached to it for additional connectivity.
Using Air Media
- To use wireless connection, select Air Media source on the touch panel.
- An IP address will be visible in the lower left hand corner of the TV monitor ("10.103.__.__"). Enter this number into the web address area of Chrome or Firefox on your device. This brings you to a page to download the Air Media software. Once the software is downloaded and opened, a 4-digit number will appear on the TV monitor. Enter this number into the box that pops up on your device.
- This connects the device image/sound to the projector.
Remote Learning Instructions Using Q-Sys
- On the room PC, Zoom can be accessed via the desktop icon or via Bridges.
- Please log in through the Single Sign On (SSO) when using the icon. It uses your Microsoft credentials.
- The room camera can be controlled from the Camera Controls Button on the Crestron Panel.
- You can pan/tilt the camera, as well as zoom in/out.
The USB cable coming out of the cubby can be plugged into the laptop to connect the camera and microphone to that device.
- In the Zoom Audio and Video settings, please make sure to select Echo Cancelling Speakerphone and Q-Sys Core 110f as the sources.
