Note that RWU does not license the Peer Review, Self Assessment or Group Project functions in Bongo.

Understanding Video File Size:
There are times when an error is generated indicating a file size is beyond the accepted limit - usually when that file size exceeds 1 or 2 GB. Here is a quick chart to help you figure out your file size - so anything over 1,024 MB is exceeding 1 GB. You can see the file size in your Windows File Manager using the List view or in Mac Finder - Documents.

Data Measurement Size
Bit Single Binary Digit (1 or 0)
Byte 8 Bits
Kilobyte (KB) 1,024 Bytes
Megabyte (MB) 1,024 Kilobytes
Gigabyte (GB) 1,024 Megabytes

Accepted File Formats

The acceptable formats are: asf, avi, flv, m4v, mov, mp4, m4a, 3gp, 3g2, mj2, wmv, mpg, mpeg, wma, mod, mp3, mts, qt, f4v, m2v, webm, ogv, mxf, vob.

File Naming Convention
Some video recordings are automatically named by the software program with an underscore followed by a long string of numbers, for example  _25784093_67901hu5. Brightspace will not recognize this type of filename so it is necessary to rename the video with a more understandable name.
