Quick Guide - CAS 162

Turning System ON and OFF

To Turn On

  • Tap the touch screen to turn it on.
  • Tap the bottom of the screen to enter the system.
  • Select the source to turn on projector and lower screen.

  • The available sources are: 
    • PC- Desktop PC
    • Laptop VGA- VGA Connection
    • Laptop HDMI -HDMI Connection
    • BluRay - BluRay Discs

blue screen says system now ready for use. please select one of the options above to begin your session. buttons along top and right. Starting with top left: laptop, pc, bluray/dvd player, air media. exit button in top right corner. right side buttons top to bottom: volume lable, up arrow, mute, down arrow, unreadable label, up arrow, mute , down arrow.


To Turn Off

 *Note: Please make sure to turn off the system before leaving the room.

  • Press the exit button on the touch panel.
  • When it asks if you are sure you would like to turn it off, select "yes."

Connecting A Device

Personal Laptop

  • In this room there are VGA and HDMI cables. To select either connection, select the laptop source first and then the connection.
  • Adapters are available for check out at the MediaTech desk, located by the main entrance of the University Library.

AV Mute

Pausing the Projection

  • If you need to mute the projection or blank the screen for a portion of the class, image mute is available.
  • Press "Image Mute" on the touch panel
  • Press "Image Mute ON" to bring back the projection.

 *Note: This only mutes the projection. The projector is still on.
