Turning Device ON and OFF

To Turn On

• Press the "ON" button on the panel at the teachers podium to activate the projector.
• Then, select your desired source.

• The available sources are: 
  • PC- Desktop PC
  • Laptop HDMI -HDMI Connection
  • Doc Cam - Document Camera

Connecting a Device

Personal Laptop

• Laptops can be connected via the VGA cable, which has a USB-C adapter attached to it.
• For audio, plug the mini cable into the headphone jack.

• The USB Cable coming out of the cubby can be plugged into a laptop to connect the camera and mic to that device.

DVD

• If using a disc, we recommend using the PC disc drive.

Room Features

Audio/Visual

• The Pic Mute button is available to hide the projected image from the class.
• To raise or lower the volume, use the knob on the Extron panel.
• The room camera and microphone can be controlled from the UCI Viewer icon on the desktop of the PC.
  • After clicking on the room name, you can pan and tilt the camera, as well as zoom in and out.

Zoom Setup

Accessing

• On the room PC, zoom can be accessed via the desktop icon or via bridges.
• Please log in through the Single Sign On (SSO) when using the icon, as it uses your Microsoft credentials.

Audio

• In the Zoom audio and video settings, please make sure "Echo Cancelling Speakerphone" and "Q_SYS Core 110f" are selected.
